| Thank You to Sponsors, Fans, and Supporters |
| You can't do this alone. There are so many important people I have met along the way who have helped me in one way or another. I would just like to take this moment to thank you, my supporters, for all your help whether it be financial, emotional, physical, etc. You helped to achieve my first goal of making the Olympic team and you continue to help me every day as I continue on to my next. Know every medal I win, every inch I throw was inspired and helped by your kind deeds. There are so many people who take time, energy, effort out of their lives to help mine. I can't even begin to name everyone who has inspired me from familiar faces to ones I have yet to meet face to face. Over the years, I have received donations, encouraging letters, care packages, a warm place to stay, a good meal, friendly and helpful advice, even a good stiff kick in the butt to keep me motivated. There are people who saw my potential before I even picked up the hammer and those who saw the spark and wanted to build the flame of my Olympic dream. Know that every letter you have sent has been read. Every dollar sent has gone toward my goals. All advice given has been heard. And every gesture has been appreciated. There is no help or act of kindness that has been too small or too large. So to all those from Julesburg, Fort Collins, Colorado State, Oregon, from all over the United States, to all over the world, thank you. | This is a painting a friend, and former client (Abby from Eugene, OR) made for me. It is so amazing and a thoughtful gift. I love everything about it! There is so much meaning, it really is amazing. |
